- Community - seeking God together because we can't do life alone.
"God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wants them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!", and the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" 1 Cor. 12: 18-21
As we fully embrace moving from "me and Jesus" to "we and Jesus", not only will we increasingly find joy in being part of God's family, but people that are not yet part of the family, will want to join us.
- Passion - seeking God with everything we've got!
"Brothers and sister, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Phil. 3: 13-14
People are not only learning about the God we worship from us - they are also learning how to worship God from us.
- Excellence - giving God our best effort 24/7
"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Col. 3:23-24
Meeting and exceeding expectations as individual Christians and as a church honors God and makes "not-yet-believers" curious about our God.
